COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Please follow our ‘Shed Rules’ so we can get through this together, but apart!
In light of recent government guidance, we have adapted the way that we serve you at The Coffee Shed by taking extra precautions to keep both our Shed staff and customers as safe as possible.
SHED RULES
We prefer card payments, so please bring your debit or credit card or have Apple Pay downloaded.
If you’re eating in, you will be asked to scan the NHS Track and Trace app on arrival (if you are taking away from ‘The Hatch’, that is not necessary). If you don’t have a smartphone, you will be asked to write down your details on paper, to be safely stored for the timeframe recommended by the government.
Social distancing measures are in place to comply with regulations, so there have been some furniture rearrangements. We politely ask that customers remain at least 1m apart whilst queuing and to wear a face mask. Face masks can be removed once you are seated at your table.
Our Shed team will be frequently sanitising surfaces, including common parts such as door handles and will be hand-washing regularly, using hand sanitiser between money handling and other tasks. Our team will be wearing face masks unless they are otherwise exempt.
